A Sampling of My Presentations

We have this moment

Following my last accident in which I was hit by a truck (I was walking across a crosswalk), God gave me this presentation!  In it, I challenge listeners to not waste this moment as it is the only moment we are guaranteed to have.  We can’t live in the past or in the future, because, to do so, wastes this moment!

The Roles We Play: The Hats We Wear

This presentation focuses on the different roles we each have within the context of our main occupation. We all have these roles and we can all learn to play them better. Each role is illustrated by a different hat. I use the hats to address issues such as power, compassion, passion and several others to encourage us in the roles we play.

Lessons For the Good Life

This presentation takes simple things like service, gratitude, kindness and opportunity and wraps them around the idea that everyone is significant to God.

Consistency in Our Walk as Believers

This presentation challenges all of us to stop strolling and start “running toward the Sun”, S-O-N!! It takes a serious look at what it means to be consistent as in constant, unswerving, regular and unfailing. We are encouraged to “pick up the pace!”

Scars: The Marks Life Leaves on You

All of us have scars, visible and invisible. They each tell a story and leave a memory that impacts our lives to lesser or greater degrees. I use my own scars to relate lessons we can all learn from the stories behind the scars.

Help!! I’m in the Rat Race and the Rats Are Winning!

This presentation considers in both a serious and humorous way the fact that we are too busy! In addition, we are too focused on things and activities to truly “rest in the Lord” as He commands. Knowing this is one thing, but taking some tough moves to change is another.

The Value of Little Things

In this very hectic life-style so many of us have fallen into, some of the most valuable things in life, the little things go by unnoticed. The degree to which we miss them determines, to a large extent, the level of joy in our lives.

From Trash to Treasure

Each of us has our own definition of what is trash and what is treasure. However, looks can often be deceiving and what one once thought trash can really be a treasure in disguise. We sometimes mistake treasures for trash with devastating results, especially if the mistake is with people!
