This is such a "God thing"!!

Hi my friends out there,  I haven’t shared for a couple of weeks, but this was so exciting I couldn’t wait to tell you!!  I have been praying for an elderly man for many years.  He had once been such a man of God, deep in his faith, even a pastor for awhile.  However, many years ago, he determined that he had “lost” his faith and for all these many years, he has lived a good and moral life, but with no concrete desire to embrace what he once believed was the truth about God, Jesus and the Gospel!  He is now 81 years old!!  Time seemed to be running out for my friend.  Oh, but time is always in God’s Hands and His timing is perfect, isn’t it?  Two weeks ago, this dear friend started asking to sing hymns and picked up his Bible and starting reading it.  He began asking all kinds of questions.  Last Sunday, he was in church!!!  As I embraced him after the service, I told him that his presence there was an answer to prayer to which he replied, “Well, those prayers must have been working because what was gone has now come back!”  He had “found” his faith again!!! That afternoon, he fell and collapsed and is now in the hospital without any assurance that he will regain clarity and mobility!  Oh, but how good and great is the grace of God who allowed him to be clear enough to once again embrace the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ!!  If he never regains his mental faculties and if he were to die there in that hospital bed, he is secure in the arms of God and for that, I just praise God!!

On another note—– Should you ever need a motivational speaker for any event, Christian or nonChristian, please don’t hesitate to contact me!  I do both arenas and, though I can’t overtly talk about God in secular settings, the principles of the good life are still from the Bible!
