Choosing Jesus now!
Today is a sad day. We just got the news that a dear friend has brain cancer-an aggressive, fast growing kind! The prognosis is not good unless God chooses to intervene. Yet, in the midst of this sadness, I can rejoice because Jim has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Death here in this life, for a believer, simply means eternal life with the LORD in heaven. Sometimes, we all act as if this moment of time called “life here on earth” is all there is. For Christians, this life is practice for life in heaven! I know where our friend will spend eternity. Are you sure where you will spend it? This life can end in the blink of an eye, the snap of a finger, a split second. Why not make a decision to admit disobedience to a Holy God and ask forgiveness for that sin? Why not rely on what Jesus did on the cross as payment for your sin and give Him control? Why not make your eternity in heaven sure? Make this your happiest New Year ever! Blessings to you and yours! deb
